Artist Statement
My jewelry and art are deeply inspired by the natural world and the movement within it. The delicate textures and shapes created by a breeze on the surface of water, the way plants grow and the geometry embedded in that growth, and the sparkle of light dancing across metal and gemstones—these are the things that fuel my creativity. I aim to combine form and function in each piece, crafting a work that is not only beautiful but also meaningful and whole.
I often lose myself in the process of creating, finding joy in the journey of making tiny works of art from start to finish. Working with metal is a unique experience—sawing shapes, forging textures, soldering, and setting stones. The process feels both powerful and intimate, with each piece telling its own story.
Recently, I’ve expanded into larger mediums, and my newest creations—mobiles and suncatchers—have quickly become a lovely extension of my jewelry. These pieces allow me to explore new ways of working, combining airy metal forms with crystals and stones. Each mobile and suncatcher is designed to interact with light and reflection, creating an ever-changing dance of color and form.
The joy I find in bringing these ideas to life is immeasurable. Nature is my constant muse, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
